Support our Fundraiser campaign!
Monaliiku is running a fundraising campaign!
The campaign's main goal is to secure funding for certified first aid training for our staff and group participants.
In addition, the funds support our courses that promote swimming skills and water safety.

This campaign has been approved under the small-scale fundraising notification: Pienkeräys – lupanumero: RA/2026/132 by the Helsinki Police Department.
The First Aid Course aims to provide our participants and our staff with the necessary skills to:
Reduce the severity of accidents and medical incidents by granting a knowledge base vast enough to assess any possible damage and additional dangers and risks;
Improve readiness and confidence to act in emergency situations and provide the necessary aid (that can make the difference in a life-or-death situation) until professional help arrives on location;
Strengthen overall safety awareness within communities and contribute to a safer environment through first aid education;
Build a culture of safety and collective health responsibility as first aid education fosters a culture of mutual care and assistance;
Provide safer operations in a workplace environment by providing a knowledge base that aims at boosting engagement in daily tasks as well as reducing anxiety and concerns regarding incidents in the workplace;
This initiative is our main priority regarding the fundraising campaign, with a secondary campaign centred around teaching of swimming skills, water safety etiquette, and community responsibility around lakes and public waters. This initiative has been reinforced by recent drowning tragedies in Finland (source: yle.fi). While first aid training remains the priority, swimming education is a natural next step in strengthening lifesaving skills.
How can you help?

Our main collection method for the campaign is Mobilepay, with all of our events featuring a spokesperson for the fundraising campaign present on site.
Donors and event participants can scan the QR code (available also on posters at the event venue) and directly contribute to our initiative.
The collection of payment through those avenues is approved by the Helsinki Police Department under the small-scale fundraising notification Licence certificate nr. RA/2026/132; Pienkeräys (lupanumero: RA/2026/132).
Another avenue of donations that we've implemented alongside the aforementioned Mobilepay avenue is a GoFundMe campaign.
This portal allows for bigger donations and (importantly) anonymity, if a donor prefers that their identity remain secret. The platform is run by a third-party company, with all rights protected and the initiative falling under the same small-scale funding notification Licence certificate nr. RA/2026/132; Pienkeräys (lupanumero: RA/2026/132), approved by the Helsinki Police Department.
