To celebrate the end of this year which is finishing really soon, we invited the people who helped make 2022 a great year for Monaliiku to our offices. This way, partner organizations, participants from our activities, and loved ones in general gathered on our premises to have a nice evening together. We were extremely happy to see familiar faces after some years without being able to reunite.

The program was packed with activities for everyone to enjoy: we had a violin performance by Ifunaya Nwosu, poetry reading “Hoitajan Sanoma” by Sandhja Kuivalainen, a Kurdish Music Performance by Nidal & Siwar, Kangoo Jumps Performance by our own Ayisat, Award Ceremony, and Henna Tattoo Spot.

In her welcoming speech, Claudia Nystrand (CEO) and Maria Hyppönen (chairwoman of the board), thanked everyone for being there and talked about the importance of Monaliiku's main goal in all our actions: integrating women with migrant backgrounds into Finland's society through sport.
