Monaliiku – Finland

Leadership and Expertise in Sports for Integration
Monaliiku – Well-Being and Sports for Multicultural Women is a unique NGO revolutionizing migrant women’s social inclusion by enabling them to take an active role in society. The organization promotes the wellbeing of women and girls regardless of background, religion, or nationality, using sports as a powerful tool for empowerment.

In Mentor on the Move, Monaliiku serves as the project coordinator and leads Work Package 4 (WP4), ensuring that the project aligns with best practices in sports-based social inclusion through its extensive expertise and networks.

Migration Institute of Finland (MIF) – Finland

Research and Data Expertise
The Migration Institute of Finland (MIF) is the only Finnish research institute specializing in migration. With around 30 scholars, MIF collaborates nationally and internationally to advance research, policy, and practice in migration, equality, and inclusion.

In Mentor on the Move, MIF leads WP2, gathering evidence-based background data to inform the mentoring programme. This data serves as a foundation for developing the online database, tools, and policy recommendations. MIF’s interdisciplinary research and strong networks amplify the project’s impact and ensure robust, action-oriented outcomes.

Laureus Sport for Good – United Kingdom

Innovative Sports Programmes for Vulnerable Groups
Laureus Sport for Good brings extensive global experience in using sports to drive social change, supporting over 200 programmes in 40+ countries. Their work has improved education, inclusion, and wellbeing for hundreds of thousands of marginalized children and young people.

Leading WP3, Laureus contributes expertise in gender-sensitive, inclusive sports programmes, ensuring activities empower migrant women and bridge the gender gap in sports participation. Their international perspective and strong dissemination network enrich the project with best practices and wider outreach.

Association Sport for All Suceava (AJSPT Suceava) – Romania

Local Engagement and Sports Event Management
AJSPT Suceava is a regional NGO officially recognized as a sports organization in Romania since 2002. It promotes sports, culture, and social inclusion, particularly for disadvantaged groups including women, youth, minorities, and refugees.

AJSPT’s role focuses on organizing sports events, piloting activities, and fostering links between schools, clubs, and communities. Their grassroots expertise ensures effective local adaptation and meaningful engagement, particularly in light of the Ukrainian refugee crisis.

Fundación Plan International Spain – Spain

Dissemination Expertise
Plan International Spain advances children’s rights and girls’ equality through targeted interventions addressing exclusion, employability, and empowerment.

As the lead for WP5 (dissemination), Plan International Spain draws on its experience in advocacy and public campaigns to ensure the project’s results reach diverse stakeholders, including policymakers and vulnerable groups. Their innovative approaches maximize the project’s visibility and impact across Europe.

Minor-Ndako – Belgium

Specialized Support for Vulnerable Youth
Minor-Ndako has over 20 years of experience working with young refugees, supporting their participation, inclusion, and wellbeing through sports. Their programs address the barriers young refugees face in accessing local sports and foster social cohesion through structured, supported sports activities.

Minor-Ndako contributes significantly to WP4, ensuring piloting activities remain accessible, relevant, and responsive to participants’ diverse needs.

International Olympic Truce Centre (IOTC) – Greece

Leveraging Olympic Ideals for Peace and Inclusion
The IOTC promotes the Olympic ideals of peace, friendship, and understanding, using sport as a tool for social good. Its initiatives, such as Hestia FC—the first football team in Greece for refugee women—showcase its expertise in empowering vulnerable communities.

In Mentor on the Move, IOTC supports the development of educational content and contributes its experience from leading multiple EU-funded projects to enhance the project’s educational and inclusive dimensions.
