On Saturday, April 18, 2026, we had the pleasure of presenting Monaliiku at Stadin yhteisötalo Saunabaari in Maunula. The event was part of Women’s Health Saturday.

Saunabaari is an open community space that offers free activities, mainly for adults, and it was a very welcoming place for this kind of event.
The day was full of interesting and important topics connected to women’s health and well-being. We listened to inspiring talks about healthy lifestyles, breast health, gut health, hormonal balance and self-compassion. These topics reminded us how important it is to take care of both our body and mind in everyday life.

The event also included different organizations presenting their work. Monaliiku was there together with groups like Heed Finland, Nicehearts Naapuriäidit, Imetyksen tuki, Diabetesliitto, Uudenmaan Martat and Naistenkartano. Each organization had its own table, which made it easy for visitors to stop, ask questions and learn more.

The event was organized in cooperation with Tunne rintasi ry, an organization that does very important work in raising awareness about breast health. They share valuable information and encourage women to take care of themselves and notice changes early. Their work is truly meaningful and supports many women in their everyday lives.

There were also other nice activities during the day, like a clay workshop, coffee serving, and even childcare. This made it easier for many women to join and enjoy the event.

For us, it was really nice to be there and present Monaliiku’s activities and programs. It was a great chance to meet women, talk with them, and share what we do. We had many good conversations, and it felt important to connect, listen, and inspire. Events like this remind us how valuable community, support, and shared knowledge can be.

Overall, it was a warm and inspiring day. We are happy we could be part of it!
