Be mindful! Let the moment be enough! - Mindfulness Course

On Thursday, March 26, we had a very special and a bit unusual session led by our wonderful instructor Pilar. The session was called Mindfulness, and for many participants it was something new and different from our usual activities.

At the beginning, we explored an interesting question: Mind full or mindful? It made us stop and think about our daily lives and what we choose to focus on. Pilar explained that it is very important to train our mind just like we train our body.

So, what exactly is it? Mindfulness is about focusing on the present moment, being fully aware of what is happening here and now, without judging or trying to change it. It also means noticing what is happening inside us and around us and learning how to let go of noise and distractions. That time we learned that awareness is a skill, and like any skill, it needs daily practice.

The session was truly amazing! We worked together in pairs, practiced breathing techniques, we listened to the calming sound of singing bowls.

There was also time to talk and share our thoughts after this activity in a very warm and friendly atmosphere. It felt safe to relax, to open up and simply to be present in the moment.
